Launching

Bath Iron Works launced the Aegis Destroyer STERETT (DDG 1040) today in a ceremony capped by the immediate move of the ship into the dry dock. Thousands flocked to see the event and enjoy the very patriotic ceremonies that preceded the launching. Our guests for the weekend enjoyed VIP seats along with a yummy lunch that followed. The next launching is about six months from now. Anybody interested in seeing it?
